Northern Twin Cities Basketball League Boys Season Comes to a Close

The Northern Twin Cities Basketball League (NTCBL) wrapped up another exciting boys' season, culminating in an action-packed playoff weekend from February 27th to March 2nd. The league, which serves 2nd-8th grade teams, is dedicated to fostering a fun and developmental environment for young athletes across multiple communities.

With a mission to increase youth basketball participation while prioritizing skill development in a recreational setting, the NTCBL has continued to provide an inclusive and competitive platform for aspiring players. The Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS) proudly partners with participating organizations and league directors to provide administrative support, ensuring a well-organized and enjoyable experience for all involved.

  • DaVinci Academy

  • Spring Lake Park

Season Highlights and Playoff Results

The 2nd-grade teams wrapped up their season on February 22nd and 23rd, while the 3rd-8th grade teams concluded their seasons with the highly anticipated playoffs. The playoff weekend featured impressive displays of teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development across all divisions. Here’s a look at the final standings:

3rd Grade
Tier 1:

  • Champion: Blaine 3 Nelson

  • Runner-up: Fridley 3 Franz

  • 3rd Place: Blaine 3 Wiersma

Tier 2:
