Gopher State 6th-12th Grade Spring Champs

FOREST LAKE, MN - The Spring Series reached its most prestigious event this past weekend at the Gopher State 6th-12th Grade Spring Champs. Hundreds of teams made up 22 divisions, all with the goal of walking away as Spring Champs. Fridley, Forest Lake, Hopkins, Mounds View, and Prior Lake all played host to the exciting weekend of basketball.

Designed to give spring basketball programs from Minnesota and the surrounding areas a chance to compete against opponents at a similar competitive level, the Spring Champs offered the biggest prize of the spring season. The 22 divisions for the concluding weekend competed in pool play and/or bracket play formats. Each player on the winning program of each division was awarded a special Gopher State Spring Championship ring to recognize their outstanding achievement.
