Event Information

Details:

  • Community based league teams
  • Teams originating from the same community association may combine to form one team (Limit of 7 additions). There will be a limit of 22 players on a combined team's roster. Association leader must sign off on all rosters.
  • Age Groups: 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, and 6th Grade
    • Availability: Open to the First 16 Teams in Each Grade
  • Age Groups: 7th Grade and 8th Grade
    • Availability: Open to the First 8 Teams in Each Grade
  • 3rd-6th Grade Teams will be grouped into eight team brackets with games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • 7th & 8th Grade Teams will be grouped into four team brackets with games on Friday & Sunday.
  • No kickoffs for 3rd-4th Grade (this may change)
  • Entry Fee 7th & 8th Grade - $525.00 (Awards for the top team in each Division)
  • 2 Game Guarantee with three officials
  • Entry Fee 3rd-6th Grade $525.00 (Awards for Top 3 places in each Division)
  • 3 Game Guarantee with two officials
  • Entry deadline - September 27th
  • Early Bird deadline- August 16th ($475.00)
  • MYAS Refund Policy
  • If a team or individual drops out of an event prior to the entry deadline, a full refund of the entry fee will be issued.
  • If a team or individual drops out of an event after the entry deadline, no refund will be issued.
  • If an event must be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather, loss of electricity, etc.), a prorated portion of the entry fee will be returned based on the number of games played.
  • If an event must be cancelled, with no games played, due to any of the above reasons, teams can elect a 75% refund of their entry fee or have 100% of their entry fee applied to a future MYAS event.
  • Credit card processing fees are not refundable.

Rising Stars Football Combine

On October 17th, players originating from community-based youth football associations/leagues will go through combine testing include 40 yd. dash, vertical and broad jump, and shuttle run. Along with the combine, players will receive position specific training from QBFT and Rising Stars Football Academy coaches.

MYAS/Youth 1st Conduct Policy

Any player, coach, or spectator who violates the posted Youth 1st Environment before, during or after a contest, WILL forfeit their team’s opportunity to continue participation in the tournament AND the actions may result in a temporary or permanent banishment from any MYAS sponsored events. The on-site Protest Committee reserves the right to uphold this policy. All disciplinary action will be sent to the Youth 1st Alliance - Conduct Review Committee, an independent group for review and recommendations at the completion of the tournament.  Notification of any disciplinary action will also be shared with other Minnesota youth football league/event operators.
