The 2023 All-Star Weekend was the largest event to date, with over 850 players representing their Gopher State community in competitive exhibition games across the metro. A big shoutout goes out to our hosts for providing a great atmosphere for these deserving players to show off their talents.

In looking ahead to next year, we look forward to growing the event and enhancing the experience for these players to continue to compete against the best at their age and division in a fun tournament atmosphere.

Since 2009, the MYAS has presented the 13u-15u Gopher State Baseball All-Star Series, as a celebration to the youth baseball season.  This event brings together the best youth baseball players from participating teams from across the Twin Cities and beyond.

In 2023, the MYAS has added opportunities in All-Star Weekend for participants from the Gopher State Rec Baseball League to participate on teams made up of their fellow All-Stars. 

The All-Star series gives an opportunity for each nominated player to showcase their talents with peers from other teams, while being recognized for their accomplishments during the 2023 community-based season.

The Gopher State Baseball All Star Series is held annually in honor of Michael Anderson. MYAS/Gopher State intends to memorialize Coach Mike’s legacy due to his commitment to Minnesota community-based youth baseball and the countless volunteer hours he dedicated to our organization from 2007-2021.

• Featuring the 9u-12u Rising Stars of the Gopher State Baseball League
• Nominated by the league's coaches/team
• Two day event (7/29-7/30)
  • Schedule can be found in the official FAN GUIDE
• Players receive:
  • 90-Minutes of training with Rising Stars Academy instructors
  • Exhibition game against fellow Rising Stars
  • Rising Stars swag (shirt and bag tag)
• Location: Official home of Gopher State Baseball- Airport Park on the campus of National Sports Center
