The MYAS Rising Stars Basketball Academy presents its first annual High School Basketball Showcase geared towards providing current and incoming high school players with an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches. We expect coaches from NCAA D-2, D-3, NAIA, JUCO and Prep schools to attend this event. In addition, each coach will have access to each participant's information and the opportunity to speak with the athletes that catch their attention.

Showcase Includes

Evaluations by College Coaches -- BALLOGY APP ACCESS -- BALLOGY Evaluation, Combine & Skills Assessment -- Individual and Team Skill Development -- MVP Sports Recruiting Profile -- 3 guaranteed games -- Games Live Streamed for Fans Due To COVID-19 -- Showcase T-Shirt

** All participants should bring a reversible jersey to wear during training and competition **

These are opportunities for male and female underclassmen to make their marks and for unsigned high school seniors to showcase themselves one final time in front of D-2, D-3, NAIA, Junior College, and Prep School coaches. If you have not been contacted by a college coach up until this point, this event will be one you do not want to miss! This will be a showcase event that will fill up quickly and we will only allow 48 kids per group to ensure a safe, effective and efficient experience.

In addition to the exposure, players will go through a collegiate level warm up by the Institute for Athletic Medicine and have their measurables taken via the Ballogy Testing App before participating in individual (stations) and team skill development drills.  One of the big differences in our showcase camp is that we believe it is important to prepare the athletes to perform well since they are trying to make a good impression on college coaches.  Players will then compete in competitive 5-on-5 games to apply what they learned in the preparation session.

“Many coaches and athletes are consistently searching for the best ways to improve sport performance. While there is constant debate over techniques for boosting sport specific speed, power and strength, I believe we tend to overlook the importance of a comprehensive warm-up, and the role it plays in optimizing performance in each workout, practice and game.”
