Youth Sports University - Speakers' Presentations

The Youth Sports University (YSU)
The YSU will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the National Sports Center's Schwan Center and is co-sponsored by the Minnesota Youth Athletic Services and the National Sports Center.  This event is designed to educate the officers of youth sports associations (Presidents, Secetary/Treasurers, Travel Directors/Coaching Coordinators, Tournament/Fundraising Directors and other officers) in the effective operation of their organization.

PCA “Double Goal” Coaching Clinic
Jim Thompson, the Founder and Executive Director of Positive Coaching Alliance, will conduct a “Double Goal Coaching” Clinic from 1-3pm on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the National Sports Center’s Schwan Center. This clinic will show coaches how to prepare their teams to win while working on the second goal of sports – using competition to teach life lessons.
