Dear Coach,

On behalf of the Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS), we welcome you to the 2008 Gopher State basketball season. We wish the best of luck to all the teams competing this weekend, and look forward to your participation in the upcoming Gopher State invitational tournaments and the Gopher State Spring Basketball Championships.

Tournament Headquarters are listed at the top of your schedule. Please call us at (763) 781-2220 if you have any questions. Your cooperation is essential to the smooth operation of this tournament. Please be certain to have the following paperwork in order for team check-in:

• Master invitational roster- Must complete it online, print it, and present it at check-in
• Birth documentation
• Completed player/coach code of conduct
• Grade documentation (if necesary-for grade exception athletes)
• Purchase Coach Pass(es)

Please report to the Tournament Headquarters at least 30 minutes prior to playing your first game. Failure to check in your team could result in team disqualification. Rostered players and coaches with passes will be admitted free, but all others will be charged an admission fee.

All coaches/bench personnell will be required to purchase a coach pass at team check-in. The cost for the pass is $5.00. A MAXIMUM of 3 coach passes per team will be allowed. The coach pass will allow you to attend any 2007 MYAS Gopher State Basketball Tournament this spring at no additional charge. Please be advised that if you lose your pass, there will be a $50 replacement fee. NO EXCEPTIONS!
